Disneyland Employee Performance Is Monitored

It has recently been reported that Disneyland monitors their employees closely. While workers perform their tasks some have a view of television screens that monitor their productivity and tell them if someone is working more quickly or efficiently than they are. It creates a competitive work environment that can lead to an increase in work injuries.

Many Disneyland employees have also been working without contracts since 2008. This is because Disneyland and the employee union cannot reach an agreement about the rising costs of health care and who should be responsible for the increase.

Illinois work injury lawyers will tell you that employee performance monitoring as well as the pressure of being out of a contract can contribute to a workplace injury.
